Cullen,

The gearing is different between the dash 1 and dash 2, and the "guts" are different,
but you can put all of the -2 guts into a -1 case.  This gives you the -2 gearing hidden
in a -1 case.  The reason to do this would be to keep the original "look" of the early car.
There are other gear ratios besides what is listed here.
