As Larry says mixing the Freeze 12 with Freon will cause most if not all
shops to not want to work on your system.  I have used Freeze 12 and it
works great, probably colder that R12.  It is a lot cheaper and widely
available on Ebay and lots of other places.  I used it planning to get
whatever time my system had left and to swap out my entire system to a R134
completely when the old system died.  It's still running today, so if that
is your situation, it may work for you.
