[DeTomaso] Small PC, Ralph Nader's Nightmare

I was interested to see in a collage of Jay Leno's garage that he had a Ford
Shogun - they took a Festiva (?) mini-compact and put an entire first-gen
Taurus SHO drivetrain in the backseat.  I remember the car mags of the day
being pretty excited about it.

 . . . But the cheezer still doesn't have a Pantera in that massive
collection.  What's wrong with that picture?

Wow!!  Two things:  I don't remember that body style Corvair - of course, in
1965, we were hot and heavy in college, working, paying our own way.  Next,
I always wonder why someone doesn't do the same thing with other modern,
small cars (like the little Chevy that looks like a Suburban, and the
Plymouth that started it all out).
