Ah, that makes sense then.

The Aircraft Spruce bolts have the perfect grip length and thus need no 
spacers (at least with stock driveshaft flanges--it's possible that the flanges 
used on aftermarket driveshafts could be a bit thinner, which would then 
make it an issue).
