[DeTomaso] Weird

So I'm sitting here at the bar in the Hilton Orlando having a quick bite to eat.  The guy next to me is from Tennesee.  We strike up a conversation when suddenly he says "wait a minute, aren't you that guy with the white Bricklan from Spokane?"

The buxom blonde bartender leaned over and gently said "No, this is Mr. Laughton who owns -the- white 1973 Racing Against Autism Pantera, which happens to be a DeTomaso powered by a Ford 351 Cleveland, driving a German ZF 5-speed transaxle."

She then smacked him square on the forehead and promptly took away his beer.  I felt sorry for him until she gave me his beer.

It's a slow Monday nite on the forum, so I'll keep this going:  In a similar vein, I was driving my Orange Pantera on Texas Hwy 6, and 30,000' up in a SW airlines jet, flying east to west, one of the airplane drivers said, "Look out the port side, there goes a Lamborghini," and one of the girls giggled and said, "No, that's Mr. Bill in his Lamborghini Pearl Orange painted Pantera, with engine by Keith Craft, wheels by Fikse, and completely redone by John Taphorn."
