Interesting, I didn't see a pic of the dash. Ah, but here's a pic of a Long & Newman dash: http://www.members.shaw.ca/david.p.brown/image/no_door.jpg
I would be inclined to mount a real Pantera dash in one of these. The 2-pod examples regularly show up on ebay and the PI Board parts for sale section.


Anyway, if I recall correctly there was someone on the list (or maybe the PI Board) late last year who was looking for a fiberglass Pantera body to build a track car.

Very interesting. I am familiar with the Long&Newman Pantera kit. A  fellow nearby owns a fully completed one that was assembled by Les  Gray and was their display model. Good news: it does look like a  Pantera. It does have a square tube frame that seem to make access and  maintenance easier. Bad news: the dash and console, IIRC, are *not*  stock and a little reminiscent of a bad Detroit interior design day.  IIRC, it is *not* significantly lighter in weight than a stock  Pantera. If Les Gray will comment on this, then he is the L&N  Expert..... 
It *might* make a good foundation for a track car with some extra  bracing to the frame and an infusion of cubic dollars.
