[DeTomaso] Long & Newman Pantera on ebay

Dear Garth,

Very interesting. I am familiar with the Long&Newman Pantera kit. A fellow nearby owns a fully completed one that was assembled by Les Gray and was their display model. Good news: it does look like a Pantera. It does have a square tube frame that seem to make access and maintenance easier. Bad news: the dash and console, IIRC, are *not* stock and a little reminiscent of a bad Detroit interior design day. IIRC, it is *not* significantly lighter in weight than a stock Pantera. If Les Gray will comment on this, then he is the L&N Expert.....

It *might* make a good foundation for a track car with some extra bracing to the frame and an infusion of cubic dollars.
