[DeTomaso] Front Mount A/C

Just one person's experience - the hose kit I bought from a vendor had the
incorrect fittings on the end, despite specifying what I needed.
Import duties and shipping made it impractical to return, so I ate it.
Depends on how much of a pain it is to return it in case of problems, I
suppose, but I suffered due to an error.

Subject: [DeTomaso] Front Mount A/C
Hey guys.
I went out saturday for a run and I've had enough of driving without A/C. I
have 180's and need to mount the condenser in the front.
I have a late model compressor with old style flare fittings for use with
134A. My questions:
Have others had good luck with the "kits" that the vendors sell. I find it
hard to believe that all those hoses would fit properly.
Should I convert to the newer style fittings?
Any info/part #'s would help. I remember reading that vintage air has a
decent condenser for mounting in the front.
Btw, I have a laydown rad.
Thanks
Will
