Boyd, If your hoses are still original, then you need the flare fittings. Since you will have to remove the old drier to replace it, and then draw down a vacuum prior to refilling, just double check the fittings by removing the drier. If all you see is copper, you've got flare. If you see any rubber o-rings, o-ring style. Larry
