[DeTomaso] Oil Pressure outlet

To all,
In my priming oil tests to get the hole in left front galley plug and directed where I wanted it to aim, I had the guage hooked up at both ports and found no major difference. I thought the pressure pulsed some at front port but not after I tied front and rear ports together and monitoring from the front.

Isn't there a plug just to he side of the oil filter down on the side of the
block?  Seems that's where the folks who have run an external oil bypass up
to the top of the engine have picked it up.  I don't know if that's too
close to the pump to get an accurate reading or not.

I want to install another oil press gauge. I' m restricted from using the
port where the original sender is mounted because of my fuel rail crossover.
Where is another port I can pick this up from and what size is the port?

Will
