[DeTomaso] Are time plugs temporary or permanent fixes?

let me put a patch on inside and air it up, see what happens over a few
days.  no plugs of course.  the biggest concern is migration of air into the
carcass of the tire, which can separate the belts. if that happens, you get
a bubble in the tire sidewalls.
