[DeTomaso] no crank, no start

Dear John,

Doug knows that of which he speaks. I have my own
Kopr-Shield goop supply thanks to his recommendation. If it is a corrosion
prone and gremlin infested old Italian car, then do try the Kopr-Shield.

                         Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

I'm referring to the wonder compound Kopr-Shield.

Go here or just google "kopr-shield".

It's a copper impregnated paste the consistency of very thick honey. It
dramatically improves the electrical connections it's applied to and
prevents them from degrading. The outside of your battery post can have all
kinds of salt growth on it but the connection inside remains pristine and
unaffected. Eastwood used to sell it in a much smaller bottle for about
$25.

  Doug,
What's your compound? There are lots of post and cable treatments out
there. I had some on my NEW cables and posts, plus the felt washers and
still had the issue John had until I cleaned it ALL off. I'm sure you don't
wanna make the xtra trip to Spokane, but maybe it's something we can get
here??
  Thanks,
