Yes lots of good memories. I had the honor to be invited a number of times
to go to West Point as I knew a cadet there. I have never felt so proud
after a visit. You may not know but the West Point band is an army band
staffed by full on duty personal, no cadets. Always a good show.

 Meanwhile, back on our home shores, I still have very strong memories of
the evening
performance I watched of the USMC Silent Drill Team. I was living just
outside Washington DC
at the time (early sixties) and saw the performance at the DC Marine Corps
Barracks.

This is the best video I could find, but it pales in comparison of viewing
the entire routine
in person.
