Here's what I've found so far on Ford dark blue engine paints. Other
opinions are welcome. A color rating of 10 = dead on to the Ford color:

Duplicolor DE-1606 (500 deg F ceramic)
Color match = 7 (not enough green in the mix)
   Temp rating 500F
Chemical resistance = Color comes off on the rag against Windex & WD40
Note: This paint is CRAP! I may have got a bad batch but I even baked the
valve covers and it made no difference vs the block in chemical resistance.

Krylon 1923 = recommended.
   Color match = 8
   Temp rating 300F
Chemical resistance = holds up against Windex and WD40
I've used this to repair the bad Duplicolor and like it so far for
chemical resistance and color match.

VHT SP125
Color match = 5 (too dark but for those who aren't Ford purists you may
prefer this darker color of the Ford shade)
Chemical resistance = holds up against Windex and WD40, long term oil
contact will destroy it.

PPG Accumatch EP-1923-A = haven't tried it.

Rust-oleum 248959 = haven't tried it
Chemical resistance = claims it's gas & oil resistant.
   Temp rating 500F

There are only two shades--light and dark. Cars from our era used the
dark blue. Readiy available in spray cans at any good auto parts store.
