Larry, it is real simple. After talking to many Reps, and a few Dems, here's how it works out: Dems hate that rich people get richer - no matter how they got their money. (I was born poor - worked very, very hard, invested well, did not waste money, and now am doing fairly well.), and corporations make a profit (never mind that they employ beaucoup union folks, etc.); and Dems don't mind paying taxes so that a certain element does not have to work and can suck off of them. Reps are just the opposite: I worked for it, it's mine. Reps hate to pay taxes for anything that didn't earn it, or isn't needed. Oh, and Bush's war: have you tried to find the two world towers in NYC - the terrorists took them down. They had to be punished. My 2 cents. ---Bill
