[DeTomaso] Borla mufflers

Believe it or not this did start out with Pantera content. I asked if anyone
had ever had Borla mufflers or resonators on their Pantera ( or heard a
Pantera with Borla's.) As far as Social Security ( and many other government
programs) the problem occurs when someone comes up with a good idea or a
program that makes sense everything is fine and dandy until some other
politician (or group of politicians) gets the idea to raid the coffers of
the program ( Like social security ) which was designed as a program to
provide support for senior citizens after working for 47 years and paying in
the entire time and then receiving a small income starting at age 65 ( or a
smaller amount if one retires at 62). The problem started when the Federal
Government started using Social Security funds as a form of Federal welfare
paying benefits to people who were disabled ( either physically or mentally
) who have never worked or paid a single cent into Social Security . Those
receiving benefits include people who are not even US citizens ( and their
dependents. ) They have even used Social Security funds to provide funds to
immigrants granted political asylum when the government decides that
because of the immigrants country of origin (like the former Soviet Union)
they don't only provide them with a substantial stipend to get "established"
in the USA they give them more money then they give to US citizens that
have worked and paid in for their entire adult life! This is information
that I have not documented but I believe it to be true. The problems in his
country are not the result of senior citizens receiving Social Security and
Medicare ( having worked and paid into the program for their entire working
life. The problems are caused by diverting Social Security funds, Medicare
fraud, compnies like GE making $14 billion in profits in 2010 and paying $0
in income taxes ( their are numerous companies with profits in the billions
of dollars in 2010 who paid $0 taxes). The problems facing he average
working class American are compounded by the fact that Congressmen (and
women) receive full health benefits FOR LIFE , after serving only one term
in office. They are totally out of touch with the difficulties facing
working class Americans. They should be forced to rely on the same health
care system that the public relys on (like medicare). They would be alot
more compassionate and empathetic to the plight of our senior citizens if
they weren't living in an Ivory tower. If anyone has a "sense of entitlement
" it is the politicians not the members of the working class. (I don't
think "middle class" is a term with much validity in 2011.)
