None of my insurance companies has ever asked the question?   And I read 
the fine print, there's nothing in my policies about salvage titles (no hidden 
gotchas).

My cheapest Scirocco came to me on a salvage title, but that didn't affect 
the $35 purchase price one iota.   It would have been $35 even with a clean 
title--and even that would be generous! :>)
