[DeTomaso] 1972 cooling hose lines

Bob,

I'm not sure what's unclear about the heater hoses. There are only two hoses
in the engine compartment aside from the cooling hoses and you put one valve
in each.

Your mechanic didn't get it quite right. The pressure tank neck should be
connected to the overflow tank bottom. The overflow tank neck should have a
hose routing the water to a point away from the rear wheel(s), e.g. below
the trans or at the furthest back crossmember.

Dear Friends,
I am double checking the cooling lines a mechanic helped me with last
weekend.

Does anyone have a diagram that includes shutoff valves for the heater
core? If not, can anyone advise me or show me pictures of exactly which
hoses
go  where .Your help would be greatly appreciated .

At the neck of my pressure tank is a 3/8" coupling that this gut attached
to a 3/8" coupling at the top of the overflow tank with no hose clamps.Is
this  correct?
