This one hopefully will be quick and easy. When I look at the resources for
anteras throughout the net, even the most popular sites such as the big
ame vendors, Pantera Place.PI.etc.I see "inconsistencies" in whether or not
he "D" in DeTomaso is capitalized or not.

Please advise as to the correct format.it appears NOT to be capitalized in
he logo on the back of the car..but popular literature and article headings
O capitalize it.etc.

>>This has puzzled me for years too. I finally cornered Santiago de Tomaso in Italy
last year and asked that specific question. The answer is actually very simple.

When speaking of an individual, the last name is spelled with a lower-case 'd'.
Alejandro de Tomaso.

When speaking of the corporation, since it's a formal entity, it's spelled with
an upper-case 'D'.

So, Alejandro de Tomaso was in charge of De Tomaso Automobili. And the car is a
De Tomaso Pantera.

He couldn't explain why the script on the back of the car started with a lower-case 'd'.
He just gave a shrug of the shoulders...
