[DeTomaso] NPC - Corporate taxes

Michael,

I don't think people are quite as bad as you think, they just need a clear picture of what's happening.  It makes no sense, but in California, people vote for liberal candidates, and for conservative ballet initiatives.  When they are given a clear choice, they vote the right way.  In the election last week, Jerry Brown talked like a conservative (lower taxes, less government) and people believed him.  The media is a big part of the problem because they don't jump all over the politicians when they lie so much.

Unfortunately, the Republican party blew their chance to make some important changes (like term limiting and tort reform) 10 years ago when they had the house, senate, and white house.  Our only hope may be to hold their feet to the fire this time, and make it clear that we are all going to a third party if they don't do what's right for the country.

Ken

Oh Doug,

Wake Up Buddy......

That will never work because the lazy people, the breeders, the plain stupid
and the uneducated won't agree and their votes count the same as those who
plan ahead, study, work hard/smart and procreate responsibily,
