Wow, I had no idea this was going to be such a difficult pursuit.  I will start calling the vendors on Monday.  Steve lists the part, but he is sold out.

It would probably be good idea to check the characteristics of the 
gauge using resistors or a potentiometer and publish the resistance 
values for the different readings.
