.......very good points.....Hmmmm....IMO, remember you always have control
over you own money...its not a risk until you send somebody some money
without having met them or seen the car...

I mean to hit the "buy it now" button....and arrange to pickup the car, and
pay in person...is no more risk than any other transaction.....and as long
as you don't send him any money before hand....why not? The buy it now
process just takes it off ebay...it doesn't commit you to wiring him 27
grand....even if he asks for it. the worst that can happen is you find out
it's a scam, and even if he gives you back feedback...its way better than
losing any big money....

They are very often scams...but I sure would kick myself for the time that
it wasn't because I was pessimistic.....good deals do occasionally
happen....occasionally.   ;)
