[DeTomaso] AMX-3 and the Pantera

I got the "kit car design" feeling. There are different type of tubings in
the chassis at different pictures, some that are really bad, at one image
they do not use rack and pinion. Etc. What would be the reason for buying
such car, when there are Panteras? As I look at it, if one likes the
design, and to own something the neighbour dont.
