I too had one of the Quella epoxy versions, and yes, they are NOT  
repairable in any sense of the word.

That was an early design method, and it is no longer done.

Current versions are all aluminum with zero epoxy.

I have photos of the current Quella-Davis two pass.

I've sent them to Henrik and Mike Drew.

Anyone else that wants them, just ask.
