My powder coated Campys look great.
They have about 40,000 street miles over 5-6 years.
Well, by "great", I mean the powder coating has held up very well. There aren't any chips or cracks, not even on the bead after 3 tire changes. One wheel has a small amount of blue overspray. I was painting my engine block, and didn't notice a squirt of blue that apparently got on a wheel. I'm sure it will come off easily, but I didn't notice it until I switched to Pantera East wheels - so the blue remains.
By the way, they are MUCH easier to clean than painted Campys. The powder coating does a great job of filling in the pores.
