Steve, the only issues I've ever had with any MIG welding is spatter. It happens when you start, continues during long runs, goes everywhere and clean-up is a b.... And ss is no different IMHO. Other than that and making non-pretty weld beads, MIG will do fine. Good luck- J DeRyke
