HAHAHAHA!!!

You're talking about the fan brackets that bolt to the pedestals that are 
welded to the front of the car.   He's actually talking about cutting those 
pedestals out.

BTW, you laugh because I have collected a bunch of your cast-off Pantera 
parts (and those of lots of other people too) and retained them for years in 
some cases.   But I'll have you know that all these years later, just a few 
short months ago, an owner showed up here in desperate need of a pair of 
those--and I was able to lay hands on a pair in about 10 seconds.   So there's a 
method to the madness! :>)
