[DeTomaso] ONE COIL ONE PLUG - SHORT WIRES

Most direct fire ignition systems use one coil for 2 plugs on cylinders on the same plane, as only one cylinder in that pair is on the compression stroke.

Electromotive seem to be the standard for such systems and that is what I have ready to install in the Pantera when the time comes.

After much waiting and daily searching on Ebay I also recently managed to pick up an NOS MSD 8521 Oil Plug/Cam Sync (no longer made) to replace the dizzy for the cam signal for sequential fire on the EFI and to drive the oil pump. You can also cut down an existing distributor and fabricate one if you desire.

Here's an Electromotive V8 system on Ebay now, 22hrs to go..... http://tinyurl.com/ycvh333

> Going to follow Mike and Kirby's example on running one coil for each plug. If anyone else has done this with their IR-EFI system let me know what you used.
