[DeTomaso] Another tire question

I can't say enough good about the Khmho's. The price can't be beat, they
ride and handle great and look like you're on the way to the track wherever
you go. I would consider going down to the 315s as with the 11" wide rear
wheels, you will get the optimal rim to tire sidewall relationship - not too
wide or too narrow. They are a little squirrelly in the rain, but Car &
Driver gave them the top dry autocross rating a few months back. Save your
money, you won't regret it.

Subject: [DeTomaso] Another tire question

All,

I'm also thinking about new tires. My Pilot Sports look perfect, but they
are getting long in the tooth. Before I even think about another BBORR, I
will have to replace them due to the date code.

I run 335/35/17 in back and 245/45/17 in the front. ZR rated, of course.

I am looking at the following and looking or advice:

Kumho Ecsta XS in 335/35-17 at $209.00 and 245/45R17 for $133 or Michelin
Pilot Sport PS2 in 335/35-17 for $385.00 and 245/45R17 for $219.

I'm open to other suggestions. I have the GT5 style wheels from Wilkinson
on a stock body car.
