Sometimes, coke and other deposits on pistons & plugs come from bad valve 
guide seals. I use only PC all-teflon seals, not the composite 
part-teflon/part neoprene ones, and especially not the stock umbrella seals. And even with 
good PC seals, a badly worn guide can sometimes cause oil leakage which 
becomes coked up. How long since either were carefully checked? Just a 
suggestion since I'm doing this by long-distance- J DeRyke
