That's stock on all the 1980s Panteras (the ones built with the Embo 
chassis).   There are under-car differences in the mechanism too (the lever which 
pulls the cables, located at the front of the engine on the early cars, is 
located at the back of the engine on the later cars, with a subsequently 
longer threaded rod, and shorter cables).
