[DeTomaso] Chassis Drain Holes

I still personally like Ted Mitchell's direct solution to rust in the frame 
rails from the '70s: 

1- drill the holes, then drive the car so vibration & air blows out loose 
small stuff 
2- drive corks in the holes you just drilled
3- fill the rails up with drain oil and let stand for a while
4- uncork one hole ea. side & drain into   pans until the drips stop
5- drive the car often
