[DeTomaso] question for the brain trust

Dear Larry,

A quick follow up. I checked with the company that makes the aluminized ceramic. They say my idea is not good because a) it ain't been tested for non toxicity in a drinking water situation and b) the coating needs to be polished in order to *seal* it. So that won't work.

The tech expert at NIC Industries said that 3M makes an product that is intended for coating the innards of actual water pipes and containers and such. He didn't have the product name nor number, but a call or email to 3M might be an idea.....
