[DeTomaso] Clutch woes in Asa's garage

1)- I ALWAYS recommend a long-throw slave, in stainless steel if you can 
find it for corrosion resistence as well. It WILL increase the disengagement 
distance a little, as long as there's no leaks, internal or external, at the 
clutch master and slave cylinders.
2)- your L model has the clutch reduction kit in it. Check to see if any of 
the steel-on-steel links and pins under the dashboard are badly worn from 
lack of lube. This will soak up some motion from the clutch pedal.
