I think you may have hit on your own problem <<I should be hooking the
cruise control's tach wire to the tach wire coming from the 6AL box before
that wire goes into the tach adaptor.>> I remember reading someone else's
advice to that effect earlier. I think it may have been The Esteemed EWSOB
himself ? I think Bill even explained why it had to be that way and NOT from
the tach adapter! You should give that a try.
