I know Will, I was the one that started bidding on the car to raise the
price until we were canceled out.
I didn't want to see anybody scammed either,

The point I was making was that we are a small group and it's up to us to
protect the brand, the cars, our investment, etc. If we don't, nobody will,
it's not like there is a factory/corp to back us up. That includes not only
being nice to people who are interested, but watching out that others aren't
screwed, just like what we did today.
Thankfully we don't have to deal with clones like the folks at the shelby
registry, tempests and lemans claiming to be GTO's, and fake z-28's and fake
ZL1 Camaros made out of junk models or the entire industry that has grown up
reproducing Cobras and GT40's ( and I even want one of each of of those
myself, but I would never let people think it was the real deal, esp since
many of the repros are better cars, just don't have the same value.)

I'm constantly correcting people who recall the "over heating exaggerations"
as a result of those first batch of ill prepared Pantera press cars back in
71, what will it take to kill that?
