Johnny Woods seperates the rear leg of the A-arm from the connecting plate and then straightens out the jog  that in it, in a press. He then reconnects it to the connecting plate with the addition of an extension to that plate and then he adds a camber lock.  
 
Regarding Pats pricing of $1300, I believe that includes both front and rear modifications. I had heard that the fronts only $600 some time ago. I could be wrong though.

As I understand the mod, Pat cuts the a-arm in two, recontours it and 
rewelds the halves back together with extra reinforcing, then includes an extra 
shim-pack so an owner can return the car to stock alignment if desired.....
