[DeTomaso] 15-inch Campy clones on E-bay

Why would anyone build 15" x 10" Campy-clones?

These came from back in the days when 16, 17, 18 and 20" tires only fit 
semi-tractors and farm implements. Real 10" magnesium Campys were selling for 
around $1600 a pair and have sold for more (when one could get tires). Kirk Evan's 
'Campy-clones' were considerably cheaper & looked almost the same. Cheers- J
