Pebble Beach Concours:
 
Get there early (before sunrise if possible - and see them placing the  
cars).  By noon your can't move because there are too many people on  the 
grounds to get a decent look at the cars.  Parking is on 17 mile drive,  so 
expect to take a shuttle, but remember where you are parked.  Admission  is $100 
(at least it was) and there is a limited number available, so I say  again 
get there EARLY.
