Good advice on wrapping the headers, they do get very hot.

While I was in school I had an MG TD that I put a SB Chevrolet into. After once driving in the winter for about 80 miles I was flabbergasted when i stopped to see my headers near the block glowing white-orange hot. When I looked closely I could see the exhaust valve right through the metal tubing!
