If you look closely you'll see that the same valve is offered under 
numerous different brand names, often with wildly varying prices.   To my mind, 
there's no reason to pay more for a given valve just because it's a "Ford 
Racing" part versus the exact same part from Wilwood, or even Summit themselves.

Note that some of the valves also incorporate a brake light switch.   This 
is a convenient way to kill two birds with one stone.   You can deep-six the 
stock shuttle valve setup and expensive stock brake light switch, run a 
single line from the 'rear brakes' port on the master cylinder towards the back 
of the car, and a line from the 'front brakes' port on the M/C (which is 
the larger of the two ports, almost always the rear one on the M/C itself) to 
the proportioning valve.   Then incorporate a T-fitting on the outlet of the 
proportioning valve and connect that to your two front brake lines, and 
you're in business. :>)
