I had a similar incident involving having a stereo and new console built for
mine. Very stressfull and took months to get my car back.  Patience, it will
turn out all right.

I feel for you Chris... I have a personal mechanic that comes to my shop. It
keeps me in better control of what happens...I hope this ends well and soon
