Asa Jay,

I assumed that you rebuilt to factory specs, hence you use the factory recommended hot viscosity with any type oil. If you decide to deviate from those specs you're on your own! :-) As a side note I don't think bearing clearance alone dictates an oil viscosity. If you increase pump capacity pressure/volume wise you should be able to run a thinner oil. The increased pump capacity will of course cause additional considerations...
