If you post "what insurance company should I use?" on a street rodder forum,
9 out of 10 replies will be Grundy. Those who have been unfortunate and had
to make a claim say they have not had any hassle or problems. You pick the
repair shop. The check goes directly to the policy holder, not jointly to
the policy holder and repair shop. No increase in premiums.

I have Grundy, for that exact reason . . . . although its only a "verbal 
aggreement" - they would give it to me in writing anywhere.

Grundy, by my investigation, has about the cheapest rates.  They also have 
THE worst public relations of anyone I have EVAR spoken with.  IMO, fwiw.
