Mine were the correct thickness and are employed with stock front calipers.

I am beginning to believe that I better buy up the local supply of these 
babies.  If you would like me to purchase a set locally and mail them to 
you, I will based on the challenge you have faced. Although, I doubt 
shipping from TX will be cheap
