[DeTomaso] How tough are the 15" factory magnesium wheels?

I've always perferred the glue on type of weights.  Clean the back of the wheel good. Never had a problem with then coming off? (I know some must have come for someone?) Plus it just looks better!

I need to remove the wheel and tire from my car tomorrow to have it
patched because I picked up a roofing nail into the tread. (BTW, my new
roof looks great!). I am going to a Discount tire store recommended by
an officer of the San Diego Pantera Club. Also, the wheel weights are
mounted on the lip of the rim. Is this the common wheel weight mounting
method used on these wheels?
