[DeTomaso] Quenched Head Rework or Tweaks???

I used 6139 and 6124 valves in my 4V heads. The valve locks I could get my hands on are slightly smaller in OD than the stock valve locks so they don't fit the stock spring retainers. The retainers I could get that fit the available locks (and my valve springs) don't give the correct installed valve spring height. Neither cam/valve spring manufacturer (Comp Cams) or Ferrea were able to help me. In the end I had to shim the valve springs at both ends to ge the correct spring height.
