Instead of chopping up your OEM gauge panel, simply make a mock-up panel of 
thin sheet aluminum and work with that. If you find there's just not enough 
room in any configuration, you'll not have destroyed the original in the process. 
Once you find a design that suits you, perhaps a second sheet-aluminum panel 
done with more care, will fill the bill. Also, consider deleting the 
almost-useless amp gauge for more room. FWIW- J Deryke
