[DeTomaso] ring gear safety wire

We had a PCNC member who dedided to change his new Pantera's ZF gear oil.

In the process, a ring gear bolt head plopped out into the drain pan.
He then started fishing through the drain plug hole, using a stiff piece of wire.

By the time he was through, he had all ten bolt heads and three sections of
thread .? He brought a plastic bag with the pieces to a tech session.

His ZF made no noise and shifted fine. 

Nonetheless, he decided he needed to safety-wire his ring and pinion.

Just because you have many uneventful miles, no noise and no apparent issue
does not mean you don't have a problem.
