OK, I thought the stripping was automatic. I know about the too many recipients and have lately either replied to the list only or put the cc-s as hidden copies.

  That's standard.  If I try to send a message to the forum and to an individual, with an attachment, it gets held up until an administrator can bless it too.

  The hot ticket is to simply not do that...send the attachments directly to the individuals, and just send a plain text e-mail to the list. :>)
